It’s Over! Real Madrid Makes a Game-Changing Decision

Real Madrid, dealing with a depleted defense, has decided not to bring in new players.

After the international break, the team has only two natural options in defense: 17-year-old right-back Jesus Fortea and Castilla center-back Raul Asencio. These two young players may play a key role for the rest of the season, as both Lucas Vazquez and Eder Militao are out with injuries.

The decision sidelines Jesus Vallejo, who has been excluded from a major role by both the club and coach Ancelotti. Asencio recently made his debut with a solid performance against Osasuna, providing an assist, while Fortea has been regularly training with the first team.

Regarding transfers, Real Madrid has no plans to recruit in January. According to Diario AS, the club will only act if one of their summer targets, such as Jonathan Tah, Alphonso Davies, or Trent Alexander-Arnold, becomes available at a good price. Although names like Sergio Ramos and Aymeric Laporte have come up, Florentino Pérez has no intention of signing them this winter.

Ancelotti is open to reinforcements but will follow the club’s policy, only requesting new players if further injuries occur.
