Wrexham confirm 25/26 squad numbers for new signings as released player replaced by Ryan Hardie

Wrexham have confirmed the squad numbers for their new 2025 summer signings, with one taking the number of a released player.
It’s now less than a month until the 2025/26 Championship season gets underway for the Red Dragons.
Wrexham face Southampton in an early kick-off on the opening weekend of the campaign.
Before that, a meeting with Melbourne Victory kicks off their 2025 pre-season tour of Australia on July 11.
Wrexham’s new home kit has been released this week, and ahead of their first match in the jersey, new squad numbers have been confirmed.

Ryan Hardie and Danny Ward Wrexham shirt numbers
Wrexham released eight senior players when they confirmed their retained list in May following the close of 2024/25.
Steven Fletcher and Mark Howard were the most high-profile exits, while Sam Dalby also departed.
Now, the strikers and goalkeeper have been replaced in the current transfer window, with Wrexham signing Ryan Hardie and Danny Ward.
And the club, on their official website, have now confirmed the shirt numbers for their latest signings.
Ward is taking the number 21, while Hardie will don 18, which was previously worn by Dalby.

Sam Dalby blow at Bolton Wanderers after Wrexham exit
After deciding against signing a new contract offered in January, the former Dundee United loanee left for free this summer.
Dalby has signed for Bolton Wanderers, who will play their football in League One next term.
However, the striker has had a bit of a nightmare start to life with his new club.
It comes with Dalby suffering an injury and is expected to be out of action until the proper campaign gets underway in August.
