Wigan Athletic fans all say the same thing as Paul Mullin makes first appearance since Wrexham exit

Paul Mullin made his first appearance since leaving Wrexham for Wigan Athletic over the weekend.
Paul Mullin wanted to play Championship football with Wrexham, but that, for the time being, hasn’t worked out.
Phil Parkinson dropped Mullin from the matchday squad in the second half of 2024/25, citing competition from the club’s new strikers and a lack of goals.
Speculation over a transfer was rife before the 30-year-old eventually secured a loan move to Wigan Athletic in June.
The Englishman is now making his first appearance for the Latics as they get their 2025 pre-season underway.

Paul Mullin Wigan loan deal details
Mullin will start the 2025/26 season in the third tier with Wigan but he may not finish it there.
Details of the player’s move to the League One side have been shared following his transfer.
And it was revealed that Wrexham have the option to recall Mullin in January if they wish.
Meanwhile, both teams are paying 50 percent of the player’s wages, and there is no option to buy.
Mullin could return against a number of Championship clubs if the Dragons opt to take up their option.
