Vinai Venkatesham agrees to initiatives to improve four key things at Tottenham

Tottenham’s new CEO Vinai Venkatesham is already making his presence felt at the North London club, taking steps to correct some concerns that the fans have had for a long time.
While there has been a lot said and written about the change in management and coaching staff at Tottenham Hotspur, there have also been huge changes at board level.
The biggest of these is the appointment of a former Arsenal chief, Venkatesham, as the Lilywhites’ new CEO, with the 44-year-old set to replace Scott Munn as the second-in-command after Daniel Levy.
Venkatesham said two weeks ago that his priority is to address the concerns of supporters, and he has already taken steps towards doing that.

Vinai Venkatesham holds meeting with Tottenham Fan Advisory Board
Tottenham have confirmed on their official website that the new CEO met with the club’s Fan Advisory Board (FAB) on Tuesday, 24 June.
Venkatesham provided the supporter representatives with an overview of his role while also explaining the reasoning behind the changes in the footballing department, including the appointment of Thomas Frank as the new head coach.
During the meeting, he also oversaw the establishment of FAB subgroups to focus on the main concerns of the supporters, including ticketing, a singing section within the stadium/atmosphere, the women’s team and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
A step in the right direction for Tottenham
Additionally, it is revealed that during the meeting, a focus group was also formed to hear specifically from the One Hotspur Way members so that they could air their concerns.
This is perhaps the biggest step that the Lilywhites have taken over the last decade or so to genuinely show that they care about the supporters’ concerns.
There was a growing feeling among the club’s fans that they are treated as nothing more than customers, and the ownership did not care about the fans, but these kinds of initiatives are undoubtedly a step towards correcting those mistakes.
