Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti on New Signings and Future Plans

As Real Madrid gears up for an exciting new season, head coach Carlo Ancelotti has shared his thoughts on integrating new signing Kylian Mbappe into the squad. This move is part of Real Madrid’s strategy to further strengthen their team, with Ancelotti remaining at the helm.

Integrating Mbappe

Amidst the excitement, there have been questions about how Ancelotti plans to use the French star alongside Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, and Rodrygo. During a live stream at the Italian film festival, Giffoni Film Festival, Ancelotti appeared relaxed and confident. “We will put him somewhere, I will find a place for him,” he stated, quoted by SPORT. Ancelotti’s assurance suggests he has a clear plan for Mbappe’s integration into the squad.

Praise for Bellingham

Ancelotti also spoke highly of Jude Bellingham, who had a phenomenal debut season with Real Madrid. Bellingham’s campaign ended on a sour note with a loss in the European Championship final, but Ancelotti praised the young Englishman’s impact. “Bellingham’s success was surprising but largely due to his genetics. Genetics play a significant role in his performance, though training is also important,” Ancelotti said.

Future Plans

Regarding his future, Ancelotti expressed uncertainty about retirement. “I don’t know when I’m going to retire. When Madrid gets tired of me, I’ll have to think about what to do. Retire? I don’t know.

National Team Reluctance

Ancelotti was also asked if he would consider coaching a national team, to which he expressed reluctance. “Honestly, I’m reluctant. I prefer the work that is done in clubs because I like having time to improve, to live day to day, and that is difficult in a national team,” he added.

Praise for Spanish National Team

Lastly, Ancelotti praised the Spanish national team for their recent Euro 2024 victory. “It was not a very intense Euro. Many teams arrived tired because the competition had just finished. Spain deservedly won because they played as a team, knowing how to take advantage of so many young talents alongside old champions,” he remarked.
