Rangers want Nasser Djiga medical done within days as terms of loan agreement revealed

Rangers are hopeful of completing the signing of Nasser Djiga in the coming days.
The Gers aren’t messing around this summer, having already completed the signings of three new stars under Russell Martin.
This has most recently seen Emmanuel Fernandez come in from Peterborough United, with the defender set to be joined by a counterpart from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A deal with the Premier League outfit looks set to be confirmed, as the Light Blues look to book in a medical for Djiga shortly.

Djiga deal agreed for Rangers loan
There is no doubt that defensive reinforcements have been needed in Govan, especially after the departure of Leon Balogun.
The experience of the Nigerian will certainly be missed, with younger replacements now set to be utilised by the new English head coach.
This started with the addition of the 23-year-old from the Posh and looks set to be replicated with the Old Gold in the coming days.
This comes after Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph reported (4 July) that the G51 club are close to agreeing a loan deal for the Burkina Faso international.
Rangers are said to be hopeful of Djiga completing a medical within days of this agreement, ahead of straight season-long loan from Wolves.
Rangers could make Djiga announcement next week
It is clear that Kevin Thelwell and Co. aren’t leaving things to chance and want to make an impact on the Gers squad moving forward.
This is certainly catching the eye ahead of the new Scottish Premiership season, with Djiga set to add to that excitement in Govan.

It will be interesting to see where the 22-year-old fits in under Martin next season, especially if Conor Coady is to come in from Leicester City.
There is no harm in building a better quality squad, and that feels like that is happening right now in the race to catch up with Celtic moving forward.
