Rangers paperwork now submitted as multi-million deal goes through at Ibrox

Rangers were taken over by Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers Enterprises earlier this summer, marking a new chapter for the Glasgow club.
After the takeover, it was reported that £20million would be funded into Rangers, with some of it to aid player recruitment.
Since that happened, several new faces have arrived at Ibrox, including Max Aarons on loan from AFC Bournemouth.
Elsewhere, Rangers have completed the signing of Joe Rothwell, with many others through the door.

49ers investment going through as new Rangers signings primed
Rangers are not messing around as they prepare for a monumental tie with Panathinaikos in the Champions League.
As well as the players mentioned, the Gers have also signed Emmanuel Fernandez from Peterborough United for £3.5million.
Football finance expert Dan Plumley – speaking exclusively to Ibrox News – has explained the process of investment that has been going on behind the scenes.
“What we can see on Companies House is that the documentation is being filed, and the paperwork that confirms the news that we had with the investment coming in,” he said.
“That’s just the paperwork side of that equation, and that’ll have been now formally ratified and the documentation as well, and obviously, of course, the club already pressing on with plans to spend that money and what they want to do with it.
“What we’re seeing there is the formal ratification through Companies House of the investment coming in from the new ownership group.”

Fernandez signs, but who could follow through Ibrox door?
Russell Martin will want more players through the door before the Bears’ Champions League double header.
There are significant financial rewards for reaching the group stage, but two qualifying rounds and a play-off stand in the Gers’ way.
Conor Coady looks like he will be joining Rangers, and could be joined by another Bournemouth player in David Brooks.
Wolves centre-back Nasser Djiga also seems to be heading to Glasgow – he has made just six appearances for the Premier League club.
Everything is coming together in the transfer window for Rangers and now they will hope their signings pay off.
