Ozcan set for Championship loan exit as ‘phenomenal’ update emerges at Aston Villa

Yasin Ozcan could be immediately loaned out by Aston Villa this summer.
The Turkish youngster signed an agreement with the Villans in January, remaining at Kasimpasa for the remainder of the Super Lig campaign.
Now, the 19-year-old has returned to Villa Park and has been met by plenty of anticipation as fans wait to see where the versatile defender fits in next season.
As hopeful as supporters may be, their excitement could be short-lived as Unai Emery could be set to organise a loan exit for Ozcan before featuring in claret and blue.

Ozcan could make loan exit to the Championship
It is fair to say that centre-back depth wouldn’t go amiss in the Midlands moving forward, especially with Europa League football on the horizon.
As a result, the teenager could take up a role in the side, with his versatility also being an attractive factor under the Spaniard’s tutelage in B6.
Regardless of this, it could prove to make better sense for Ozcan to build on his sizable experience at his young age to adapt to English football in the Championship.
Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen has been blown away by the youngster and believes Emery will push for a season-long exit this summer.
“The experience of playing in Turkyie at that age is absolutely phenomenal.
“Could he go out and play at Championship level to get used to English football next season?
“The playing style in Turkyie is quite different, so it will be interesting to see.
“I think Unai Emery will suggest that he goes out on loan to a decent Championship club or even a newly promoted side.
“It is an interesting situation, and it is certainly one I am going to keep an eye on this season.”
Ozcan has bright future at Aston Villa
Whatever decision Emery, Monchi and Co. come to surrounding the defender, his future in B6 certainly remains a huge point of interest.
There aren’t many teenagers who have made over 90 appearances in senior football at such a young age, something that can’t be sniffed at.

With that being said, Tyrone Mings is going to be ahead of Ozcan for now, with any potential new defensive signing also set to take precedence.
As a result, a temporary move to the Championship or even lower down the Premier League could prove to make perfect sense for all parties.
