‘My Understanding’ – Fabrizio Romano: Man Utd and Tottenham Update on Mbeumo

“My understanding is that Manchester United are in control of the situation right now,” Romano explained. “They’re speaking with Brentford on a near-daily basis. The conversations are ongoing, and they’re also in direct contact with Mbeumo’s representatives. The player wants to join United — he’s made that clear.”

Despite the strong desire from Mbeumo to link up with United, the transfer is far from simple. Brentford have a reputation for being tough negotiators, especially when it comes to their top talents.
