Joan Laporta Shares His Passion for Farm Life and Fresh Eggs
Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently opened up about his love for farm life, revealing his enthusiasm for fresh eggs. “I love fried eggs and scrambled eggs,” Laporta shared, highlighting his personal connection to his small-scale farming activities.
Laporta owns nine hens and a rooster, and he noted that he now faces the task of replacing the older hens to maintain his egg production. His hands-on approach reflects a genuine appreciation for the source of his food and the joys of rural life.
In addition to his poultry, Laporta also keeps goats. “I have five little goats and one billy goat,” he explained, showcasing the variety of his small farm and his fondness for tending to animals.
When it comes to cooking, Laporta emphasized the quality of his eggs. “As for omelets, I’ll tell you clearly: the eggs produced by my hens are the best eggs in S’Agaró,” he said, underlining the pride he takes in producing high-quality, homegrown ingredients.
Laporta’s comments paint a picture of a president who balances the demands of football administration with a personal passion for farming. His remarks reveal a playful and authentic side, connecting him to a simpler, more grounded lifestyle outside the world of professional
football.
