FOOTBALL – Coventry City to host Bundesliga side in pre-season friendly

COVENTRY City will host Bundesliga side FC St. Pauli in a pre-season friendly at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The Sky Blues will entertain the German side on Saturday, August 2 with kick-off at 3.30pm.
The friendly marks the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
And the pre-season fixture will be Coventry’s final test before the start of the 2025/26 Championship season.
St. Pauli finished 14th in the Bundesliga last season following promotion the previous campaign.
Former St. Pauli boss Fabian Hurzeler left the club ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season to manage Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.
