Done Deal? Arsenal’s Pursuit of Star Striker Viktor Gyokeres in the Balance – But Arteta Can Still Make It Happen!

Arsenal’s hopes of signing Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon might be fading, but former captain William Gallas believes Mikel Arteta and the Gunners can still make it happen if they’re truly committed. The Swedish striker has been exceptional for Sporting and, with Manchester United’s new coach Ruben Amorim as a potential draw, Arsenal faces serious competition. Gallas warns, “Arsenal have no chance; Gyokeres will likely follow Amorim to United.”
However, Arsenal has a path forward: if they’re ready to meet Sporting’s £63 million asking price and can convince Gyokeres of Arteta’s vision, they might just have a shot at securing the prolific forward. For Arteta, adding a powerful striker like Gyokeres could be key to strengthening Arsenal’s attack as they chase silverware this season.
Could Arsenal make a late surge and seal the deal? Let us know what you think!
