COBAN BIRD SIGNS PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT WITH THE WHITES

Leeds United are pleased to announce that Academy defender Coban Bird has signed a first professional contract with the club.
The two-year deal will see the left-back remain with the Whites until 2027, as he continues to progress at Thorp Arch.
A regular with the Under-18s last term, Bird also featured for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side in both the Premier League 2 and National League Cup.
The 18-year-old scored three times during the previous campaign, which included notable strikes from distance against Manchester City U18s and Blackburn Rovers U18s.
Everyone at Leeds United would like to congratulate Coban on signing a first professional contract and we look forward to seeing his future development with the club.
