Chelsea Thrash Noah 8-0: Didier Drogba Criticizes Underperforming Star Despite Record Win
Chelsea’s dominant 8-0 victory over Armenian club Noah saw the team deliver one of their most commanding performances, with nearly every player contributing to the historic win. The game, which matched Chelsea’s second-biggest victory margin, showcased flawless execution and relentless energy from start to finish. Manager Enzo Maresca’s strategic substitutions kept the intensity high, leading to a memorable night for the Blues.
Tosin Adarabioyo opened the scoring with a powerful header, setting the tone for an onslaught of goals. Marc Guiu followed with his first Chelsea goal, sparking a flurry of scoring that included Axel Disasi, Joao Félix (twice), Mykhailo Mudryk, and Christopher Nkunku, who capped off the night with a brace.
However, Chelsea legend Didier Drogba wasn’t entirely pleased, pointing out one player who, in his view, “needs to improve or leave the club.” According to Drogba, this player showed a lack of effort against what he described as a “small team.” The comment comes as a surprise given the stellar team display, yet Drogba’s standards remain high, emphasizing the competitive spirit he believes Chelsea players should embody.
Chelsea fans will be thrilled with the team’s performance but may be left speculating on who Drogba feels still has work to do to meet the club’s high expectations.
