Chelsea Demand £100m for Fernandez Amid Real Madrid Interest
Real Madrid have reportedly made an approach to sign Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, but the Premier League club are demanding a £100 million fee for the Argentine.
Fernandez joined Chelsea from Benfica for a British record fee of £107 million in January. However, he has struggled to consistently impress under manager Enzo Maresca and has recently lost his starting place to Romeo Lavia.
Real Madrid are in the market for midfield reinforcements and see Fernandez as a potential target. However, Chelsea are not willing to sell the midfielder for a low fee and have set a high price tag of £100 million.
It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will be willing to meet Chelsea’s demands. If they do, it could lead to a significant transfer fee and a lucrative move for Fernandez.
