Tottenham Hotspur’s summer transfer window hasn’t got off to the fastest of starts.

Indeed, Spurs have only made one new signing so far in the shape of Mathys Tel.

However, there could soon be more incomings through the door at Hotspur Way.

Kota Takai is set to sign for Tottenham, while Spurs are keen on Mohammed Kudus from West Ham as well.

On top of that, Tottenham need more homegrown options, and they have been linked with a move for one of their former players.

Kyle Walker-Peters has been linked to Spurs, and according to Alasdair Gold, Walker-Peters would love to join Tottenham.

Now, just days after being released by Southampton, Walker-Peters has been spotted in training with a former Tottenham player who is bound to set tongues wagging.

Kyle Walker-Peters spotted training with Dele Alli

Pre-season is still a few weeks away yet, but Walker-Peters is already working on his sharpness.

Indeed, in a clip posted onto Instagram by Connor Peters, a personal trainer, Walker-Peters can be spotted doing some work with Dele Alli as well as Fulham youngster Seth Ridgeon.

Walker-Peters has been linked to Fulham, so it’s interesting to see him working with Ridgeon, while, of course, Dele Alli’s presence plays into the Tottenham links given Alli’s affinity and connection with Spurs.

Walker-Peters is keeping himself fit and sharp ahead of next season, and that certainly bodes well for any club that looks to sign him on a free transfer.

Kyle Walker-Peters’ record alongside Dele Alli

Of course, Dele Alli and Kyle Walker-Peters were teammates at Tottenham once upon a time, and they seemingly forged quite the relationship in that period.

Interestingly, Walker-Peters and Dele Alli had a fantastic record together for Tottenham.

These two players only lost two games in 15 matches together, and, even then, one of those games was on penalties.

Walker-Peters actually scored a goal that was assisted by Alli in that time as well.

These two are seemingly training together throughout the summer, and surely some conversations will happen about their time at Tottenham and Walker-Peters’ potential return to Spurs during this time.

Walker-Peters is a ‘brilliant’ right-back, and he could well be a good addition to this Tottenham side.
