Barcelona Stunned by Late Celta Vigo Comeback

Vigo, Spain – In a dramatic turn of events, FC Barcelona’s perfect start to the La Liga season was halted by a late comeback from Celta Vigo. The Catalan giants, who were leading 2-0 with just minutes to go, conceded two quick goals to end the match in a 2-2 draw.

Barcelona’s early dominance was evident as they took the lead through Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski. However, the game took a dramatic turn in the 82nd minute when Marc Casado was sent off for a second yellow card, reducing Barcelona to ten men.

Seizing the opportunity, Celta Vigo mounted a furious attack. Alfon Gonzalez pulled one back in the 84th minute, and just two minutes later, Hugo Álvarez scored the equalizer to shock the visiting team.

The late collapse leaves Barcelona with their first dropped points of the season. Despite the disappointing result, the team will look to regroup and focus on their upcoming Champions League match against Brest.
