Arsenal star to end transfer talk with new contract offer: report

Arsenal are reportedly set to reward Leandro Trossard with a new contract as part of their efforts to stabilize their attacking options amid a turbulent 2024/25 season.

Trossard, a key figure in Arsenal’s title challenge last season, has faced criticism for his underwhelming form this term, contributing just two goals in 11 Premier League appearances.

Despite the Belgian forward’s struggles, Arsenal are looking to show their commitment to him by offering a lucrative new deal, extending his stay at the club.

Trossard, whose current contract runs until 2026, turned down offers from Saudi Arabia in the summer to remain at the Emirates. Sources suggest that the new deal will come with a significant wage boost, reflecting his growing importance in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Since joining from Brighton in 2022, Trossard has been involved in 33 goals in 83 appearances for Arsenal, scoring crucial goals in key moments.

As the Gunners aim to reverse their recent dip in form, which has seen them secure just two wins in their last seven matches, Trossard will be eager to return to scoring ways against Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Arsenal’s clash with Nottingham Forest at the Emirates is crucial, as another defeat could see them fall behind their opponents in the Premier League standings.
