Man United Go All-In: £130m Bid Launched for Jude Bellingham as Old Trafford Rebuild Intensifies

Manchester United have shaken the football world with a sensational £130m bid for Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham, signalling their intent to build a new era around one of the game’s brightest talents. According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, United have officially submitted a €150m offer as they push to bring the England international back to the Premier League in 2026. The Red Devils want Bellingham to become the headline figure of their long-term project under Ruben Amorim.

However, Real Madrid remain firm in their stance: Bellingham is not for sale at any price. The 22-year-old midfielder, widely regarded as one of the best players in world football, is tied to a contract that runs until 2029. Los Blancos maintain full control of the situation and have no interest in entertaining offers, regardless of how record-breaking they may be. Selling him would shatter both the British transfer record and Real Madrid’s own sales history — but the club is standing strong.

Bellingham himself is said to be tempted by a future return to England, but not in the immediate term. Reports claim he remains fully committed to Real Madrid and focused on continuing his development in Spain, where he has already enjoyed massive success. Since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2023, he has become a central figure in the squad, helping the club win the Champions League and becoming a fan favourite at the Bernabéu.

Real Madrid’s turbulent season under new manager Xabi Alonso has added another layer to the drama. With tensions rising between Alonso and several senior players — including star forward Vinícius Júnior — the environment in Madrid has grown complicated. Despite this instability and a recent slump in form, the club is still refusing to consider Bellingham’s departure as they prepare for a crucial Champions League clash against Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s interest in strengthening their midfield goes beyond Bellingham. After spending nearly £200m on attackers last summer, the club has now shifted its attention to boosting Ruben Amorim’s engine room. United are actively exploring multiple options, with Premier League talents like Carlos Baleba, Elliot Anderson, and João Gomes on their shortlist. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils could even revive their chase for Atlético Madrid’s Conor Gallagher, though the Spanish side are holding out for a deal worth around £30m.
