“That’s What Will Happen to Him”: Courtois Predicts Mbappé’s Future at Real Madrid
Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has expressed unwavering confidence in Kylian Mbappé’s potential to succeed at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Despite a slow start since his high-profile transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024, Mbappé is beginning to show signs of his world-class ability.
The French superstar found the back of the net during Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Getafe on December 1, a crucial LaLiga fixture. His 38th-minute strike, combined with a penalty converted by Jude Bellingham, ensured a vital win for Los Blancos.
Courtois, speaking about Mbappé’s future, said:
“Kylian Mbappé is a player of immense quality. He’s like a bottle filled with liquid that seems stagnant but eventually pours out all at once. That’s what will happen to him.”
After years of persistent efforts to bring Mbappé to Madrid, the club finally secured his services last summer. Despite PSG’s relentless attempts to retain him, Mbappé fulfilled his long-cherished dream of donning the famous white jersey of Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old’s potential breakout could serve as a turning point, solidifying his place as a key figure in the club’s ambitions for both domestic and European success this season.
