With two wins and two losses from their last four Champions League group-stage matches, Real Madrid needs a solid result against Liverpool to secure a direct qualification to the knockout rounds. While there are still concerns defensively, the attack seems to be finding form.
Rodrygo Goes, who was expected to be sidelined for the rest of the year due to a muscle injury sustained against Osasuna, has resumed individual training this week and even participated in part of a team session. His recovery is progressing well, and he could return sooner than anticipated. There is even a possibility that he will be included in the squad for the match against Leganés on Sunday.
This is great news for Ancelotti, who could have his usual attacking trio available for the Liverpool match. Additionally, Lucas Vázquez, initially expected to be out for five weeks, may also be ready to feature against Liverpool.
