Barça: Positive Update Before Facing Celta Vigo

As FC Barcelona prepares for their upcoming match against Celta Vigo, there is positive news regarding winger Ferran Torres’ recovery. Despite the celebrations organized by coach Hansi Flick for the team, Torres has been focused on his rehabilitation and solo gym workouts.

The Spanish forward suffered an injury on October 6 during Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over Alavés, being forced to leave the pitch in the 5th minute. Initial medical tests revealed a biceps femoris strain in his right thigh, which ruled him out of the Nations League fixtures against Denmark and Switzerland.

Torres could make his return to the squad as soon as Saturday, November 23, when Barcelona faces Celta Vigo. This would be a major boost for Hansi Flick, who is already without Ansu Fati, sidelined for a month due to a recent injury sustained in training.

However, Torres’ return is still uncertain. Despite his progress, the final decision will depend on the medical staff’s assessment. If he’s not fit in time for the Celta match, he may also miss the subsequent fixtures against Brest (November 26) and Las Palmas (November 30).

The next few days will be crucial in determining whether Torres can join the squad, with both the coach and Barcelona fans hoping for a positive outcome to strengthen the team’s attacking options.
