Deco Confirms Pedri’s Contract Renewal Will Happen at Barcelona
Deco, the former Barcelona legend and current advisor to the club, has expressed strong confidence that Pedri’s contract renewal will be finalized soon. Speaking about the young Spanish talent, Deco emphasized Pedri’s commitment to the club and his desire to achieve greatness at Barça.
“Pedri’s renewal WILL happen because he wants to succeed at Barça and make history,” Deco stated. He added that while the club is focused on winning major titles this season, securing the futures of key players like Pedri remains a top priority.
In addition to Pedri, Deco also commented on the situation regarding Barça’s central defender, Ronald Araújo. “I believe Araújo wants to be part of what lies ahead for Barça in the coming years. We are working on it, but it’s important that the players’ ambitions align with ours. We know what we want, but it also depends on the players’ intentions,” Deco said.
As Barcelona continues its push for success both in domestic and international competitions, the club’s leadership is focused on ensuring the stability and growth of their squad by renewing contracts with key players like Pedri and Araújo, who are seen as central to the team’s long-term success.
