From Madrid to Paris — one blockbuster, two records shattered.

Real Madrid is reportedly preparing a €150 million offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Portuguese midfielder Vitinha. If completed, this transfer would set a new record as the most expensive signing in Real Madrid’s history and the highest-ever sale for PSG.
The Spanish giants are keen to strengthen their midfield with a young, proven talent. Vitinha has emerged as a pivotal player for PSG, showcasing both creativity and versatility in central midfield. His performances have made him one of the club’s most influential figures.
Negotiations, however, are expected to be complex. PSG has expressed no willingness to sell the midfielder for less than a significantly higher fee, given his importance to the team. The club values Vitinha highly, especially after he extended his contract until 2029 in February 2025.
Despite these challenges, Real Madrid appears prepared to exercise patience. The club believes Vitinha aligns with their long-term vision, aiming to secure a player who can contribute immediately while also developing into a central figure for years to come.
Ultimately, the success of this potential transfer will hinge on convincing Vitinha to join Madrid and reaching a financial agreement acceptable to PSG. Both sides will need careful negotiation to finalize what would be a landmark deal in European football.
