Fran Garcia and Dani Ceballos to potentially leave Real Madrid – The Athletic

Real Madrid may face potential departures in upcoming transfer windows, with Dani Ceballos and Fran García reportedly considering their futures at the club, according to The Athletic.
Ceballos previously explored moves during the 2024 and 2025 summer windows. However, no offers met both Real Madrid’s valuation and his salary requirements, which are estimated at around €4.5 million after tax. With his contract running until 2027, the club may consider adjusting its asking price to facilitate a transfer.
Despite a strong showing in the Club World Cup, Ceballos’ path forward remains uncertain. The player’s desire for regular playing time could influence his decision if opportunities at Madrid remain limited.
Meanwhile, left-back Fran García appears to have fallen down the pecking order, currently behind Alejandro Carreras and Ferland Mendy. This reduced role may prompt García to evaluate options that offer more consistent minutes on the field.
As both players weigh their options, Real Madrid’s management will need to balance squad depth with the ambitions of individuals seeking regular playing time. The upcoming transfer windows could prove pivotal in shaping the club’s roster.
