Barcelona Step Up Monitoring of Rising Talent Antonio Nusa

Barcelona have intensified their interest in RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa, with club scouts present during the recent Italy–Norway international match to assess the 20-year-old’s progress. The Catalan club views Nusa as one of the standout young attackers in Europe, and his performance in a high-profile international setting provided an ideal opportunity for closer evaluation.

During the previous international break, a key meeting took place in Milan that brought together agents, intermediaries, and sporting directors from many of Europe’s top clubs. This gathering served as a strategic hub for transfer discussions, talent comparisons, and market updates, with Barcelona among the prominent participants.

Joao Amaral, Barcelona’s newly appointed head of scouting and assistant to sporting director Deco, represented the club at the event. Amaral used his time in Italy to expand Barcelona’s scouting operations and to personally monitor Nusa’s performance, observing the winger’s development, decision-making, and suitability for Barcelona’s long-term sporting project.

Nusa, regarded for his pace, technical quality, and potential for further growth, has continued to attract attention across Europe. His club performances and international outings have solidified his reputation as one of the most promising young wide players in the game today.

According to reports from Spanish journalist Alfredo Martínez, Barcelona’s interest is genuine and ongoing, with the scouting department carefully tracking the player’s evolution. While no formal move has been made, the club is clearly positioning itself to act should an opportunity arise.
