Mbappe Calls Premier League Star Every Two Hours Urging Move to Real Madrid

In a development that has amused many football fans across Europe, a Premier League player has disclosed that Kylian Mbappe contacts him every two hours in an effort to persuade him to join Real Madrid. The French star, since completing his 2024 switch from Paris Saint Germain to the Spanish giants, appears determined to influence the club’s transfer plans as much as he influences their attacking lineup.

Konate confirmed this humorously in September, stating that Mbappe contacts him “every two hours”, while joking that he cannot speak Spanish.

Konate has been on Real Madrid’s radar for a while. With his Liverpool contract set to expire at the end of the 2025/2026 season, the French defender faces a crucial choice about his next career move. If he does not renew with Liverpool, he will be free to negotiate a pre contract with foreign clubs in January.

As speculation continued during the latest international break, Konate addressed his situation during an interview with RMC. He explained that although he has seen many reports linking him to a departure, his representatives are still in active discussions with Liverpool. He added that he hopes to make a clear decision soon so that he can publicly confirm his future.

Meanwhile, another French defender, Dayot Upamecano of Bayern Munich, has also been connected with a potential move to Real Madrid. His contract with the German club runs until 2026, but discussions around an extension have raised questions about his long term plans. Reports in Germany suggest that Bayern may eventually convince him to sign a new deal, although interest from Spain continues to circulate.
