Real Madrid Continues To Monitor Enzo Fernandes And Moises Caicedo,As The Club Plans To Strengthen Their Squad.

Real Madrid are keeping close tabs on Chelsea midfielders Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo as the club explores options to strengthen their squad. According to reports, the Spanish giants remain attentive to both players’ progress and could revisit the idea of making a move in the near future.
Journalist Graeme Bailey revealed that Madrid are conducting extensive background work on midfield targets. “Real Madrid are doing their due diligence on potential midfield options. They are constantly evaluating players under Juni Calafat, who has transformed their recruitment strategy,” Bailey said. This careful approach has helped the club consistently secure the right profiles over the years.
The midfield remains a key focus for the Madrid hierarchy. While the current squad boasts depth and talent, there is a growing awareness that reinforcements will soon be needed. Both Fernandez and Caicedo are admired by decision-makers at the Santiago Bernabéu and are reportedly monitored on a regular basis.
A significant factor in Madrid’s search is the absence of a deep-lying playmaker since the departures of club legends Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. Their exits have left a void in creativity and control, roles that the club has yet to fully replace despite promising performances from younger players.
Additionally, Dani Ceballos is expected to leave the club within the next year. His potential exit would further reduce options in midfield, making it increasingly important for Madrid to secure a long-term solution. This situation only adds weight to their interest in Fernandez and Caicedo.
Both Chelsea stars have proven themselves as dynamic and resilient midfielders. Fernandez, a World Cup winner with Argentina, offers technical quality and passing vision, while Caicedo is highly rated for his ball-winning abilities and physical presence. Their contrasting yet complementary styles make them attractive targets for Madrid’s evolving midfield setup.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid could consider tempting Chelsea with offers in the region of €100 million. Whether Chelsea would entertain such bids remains to be seen, but Madrid’s interest underlines their intent to remain proactive in planning for the next era of their midfield.
