  • The Colombian international signed a new contract in April that ties him to the South London side until June 2028, but that hasn’t stopped him from speaking openly about his ambitions for the next step in his career.
  • Munoz became a fan favourite for his relentless energy down the right flank and played a key role in helping Palace win their first-ever silverware.
  • He set up in-demand teammate Eberechi Eze for the winning goal in the FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley Stadium.
  • Despite enjoying unprecedented success with Palace last season, Munoz is ready to move on to the next phase of his career and made it clear while training in Colombia with former club Atletico Nacional.
  • He insisted that he’s still happy at Palace but dreams of joining one of the top clubs in Europe.
  • “I want to play for the best teams in the world,” Munoz said (via The Mirror). “But they haven’t spoken to me directly. 
  • “I dream and work every day to achieve it, and I hope it can happen as soon as possible. I hope it’s in this window, but if not, I’m very happy at Crystal Palace.”
  • Munoz’s comment comes at a time when Palace are battling to keep their spot in the Europa League.
