Crystal Palace Table Offer to Sign ‘Outrageous’ Forward to Replace Eze

Crystal Palace have made an offer to Bologna forward Dan Ndoye as they begin to eye replacements for Eberechi Eze, according to Il Resto Del Carlino.

The Eagles are preparing for their first season in European competition after qualifying for the Europa League following their FA Cup win in 2024/25, although their participation in the tournament is under threat from UEFA due to John Textor’s former ownership of the club.

While talks are ongoing about the future of star forward Eze amid interest from Arsenal and Tottenham in particular, Oliver Glasner’s side have now made their move to begin the process of potentially replacing the England star.

Ndoye, who has been described as ‘outrageous’, shone in Serie A for Bologna in the 2024/25 season and those performances have seen Palace consider the 24-year-old forward as their ideal replacement to replace Eze, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano exclusively to GIVEMESPORT.

But Serie A champions Napoli are also keen on a deal for Ndoye, which has seen Crystal Palace table an offer of personal terms to the forward to convince him to move to the Premier League instead.

However, as things stand Ndoye is not currently convinced by a move to Selhurst Park. But Napoli are currently pushing ahead with a move to sign Noa Lang instead, as Bologna’s £42m asking price is currently deemed to be too high.

Eze has emerged as a top target for Arsenal and Tottenham this summer, with the England star having a £60m release clause in his contract that is payable in three instalments.

Club captain Marc Guehi is also expected to leave this summer as he enters the final 12 months of his contract with the Eagles, which has seen the club make a move for Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande to replace him in a potential club-record deal.

With Ndoye seemingly needing some convincing and Bologna hoping to keep him, Palace have a job on their hands to get their main attacking target for the window.
