DONE DEAL: Lucas Perri Signs Four-Year Deal with Leeds United

Leeds United have officially confirmed the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Perri, who has put pen to paper on a four-year contract at Elland Road. The 26-year-old shot-stopper joins the Whites as part of Daniel Farke’s summer rebuild, bringing with him commanding presence, sharp reflexes, and top-flight experience from his time in Ligue 1 with Lyon.
Perri was unveiled today at the club’s media centre wearing the latest Leeds United home kit, smiling as he signed his long-term deal. The goalkeeper successfully passed his medical earlier in the week and is now expected to compete for the number one shirt, bringing fresh competition to the goalkeeping ranks.
Speaking after signing, Perri expressed his excitement: “Joining Leeds United is a dream. The history, the fans, and the ambition of this club are exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait to get started.”
This move is seen as a key statement of intent by Leeds, who are determined to return to the Premier League. With Perri now secured, the club continues to target further reinforcements ahead of the upcoming Championship campaign.
